Ordered 4 items received all but one and was charged for all 4. Called and went through their automated customer service. This answered most of my questions but still didn’t know when item would be shipped, why it wasn’t explained as back ordered on my receipt and why I was charged for it. Got through to a person but she wouldn’t answer the above questions because it was paid for with husbands credit card. Strange as the automated system gave me information about the order without having to talk to hubby. Guess he will have to call. He will not be a happy camper.

Kept $23 for my trouble

I ordered a purse from Sahalie. Total charges $72.96. The bag arrived, and was of a poor quality with cheap plastic "turquoise nuggets" hanging on the fringe detail. I returned the bag, they said they'd keep $9.99. That was bad enough, but I understood. They didn't mention they would also keep the freight charges for the package to be sent to me. They actually kept $23 total...refunded $49.97. I will never order from them, or their 10 "associated companies". Buyer beware!!!

Shipping takes forever and customer service not helpful in resolvingissues

1.I have found on several orders that the merchandise can take from 2 weeks to a month, sometimes having to go to Ohio, Kentucky, before arriving in California. 2. One delivery was returned to the company because the delivery service could not find the address, yet I have things delivered all the time to this address. By the time I reordered the items, they were out of stock 3. I was told it was my responsibility to contact the delivery company DHL in order to resolve delivery issues or else pay an additional fee to have it resolved sooner. 4. This seems so inefficient. Other retailers seem to have all of these logistics worked out. The merchandise is very attractive and reasonable when on sale, but I am hesitant to order again as each time it seems that there is a new glitch and yet customer service seems to wash their hands of any delivery problems. Suggest they get a new shipping system and that customer service be more user-friendly when it comes to resolving shipping problems. On line ordering is not this problematic with other vendors.

Sahalie Shipping Service Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I wanted to place an order which totaled $109. Shipping is supposed to be free for $75 or more but when I got to check out I was being charged $17.99 for S&H. All I wanted to order were 2 skirts, both were already overpriced and then another $17.99. WTF?? How does this company stay in business? BTW, I did not finish processing order.

Never Again

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
purchased a dress from Sahalie which was too big so I sent it back for an even exchange. What a joke that was! They charged we an extra $10 and charged me $27 for a late fee because I waited for the dress to come in before paying for it, which by the way was mailed well before the due date. My payment reached them the following day, how convenient for them. Customer service was a joke. I have cancelled my account with this company and I will NEVER shop them again! I highly suggest any person wanting to shop this company to NOT do it.

Sahalie Rewards Scam

I purchased boot sweaters on October 30, 2012 from www.Sahalie.com and notice that now I have a recurring "VIP membership" with Sahalie.com. I called phone no. 866-835-**** associated with the pending bank charge and the rude Sahalie customer service personnel informed me of the monthly "membership" fee. I have had no documentation sent to me via email or otherwise regarding such a membership. I have been told I will be released from this VIP membership and further charges/fees. Their clothing appears cute and I am very surprised to see a retail clothing store employ such shady business practices. My intent was only to purchase sweaters, not a recurring monthly membership. I will never purchase anything from them again.

Same thing happened to me.

Sahalie VIP is a RIP-off. If you have ever shopped at Sahalie, check your statements for unauthorized recurring charges, typically $14.97 a month!

I contacted Sahalie about this scam and they said they are sorry I am having difficulty with the VIP program. I am not having difficulty with the Sahalie VIP Plus Program. I never enrolled in this program; I am not a member. I am having difficulty with your company that is stealing from your customers by charging monthly fees to their credit cards.

I am not alone. An online search shows many others have been subjected to this scam by your company. It doesn't matter that the card is managed by Comenity Bank; it is being promoted by Sahalie. And I do not even have a Sahalie VIP Credit Card!

I expect a full refund for every one of those charges and I expect Sahalie to take care of it. I also expect that you warn your customers about this program and that you take this advertisement off your website. I did not sign up for any service from Sahalie that automatically charges my Visa card $14.97 a month. Plus a $1.99 enrollment fee!

What a joke! Why would I do that? Sahalie advertises for Sahalie VIP right on the first page of your website. Your site says, "Enjoy exclusive savings and rewards when you shop with Sahalie's VIP Credit Card.

Safe. Secure. Convenient." Is this the source of the $14.97 charges? How did this end up being charged to my Visa?

I didn't notice this on my statement because I have made purchases from Sahalie, so it did not stand out as something unfamiliar. You should be appalled, ashamed and apologetic to all of your customers. I have been a good customer and this is what happens? Is this what VIP means?

Is the V for Victimize? Because that is what has been happening to me and many others for several years. How many of your customers have never noticed this? If the Sahalie company has any integrity, you will separate yourself from this program, research your customers' accounts and make reparations.

How ironic that the advertisement for the card, on your front page, says "Sahalie credit card accounts are protected against unauthorized and fraudulent purchases." How about fraudulent charges? How about fraudulent charges to unsuspecting people who do not even have the VIP card/program. Thank your for responding to this post and I look forward to a full refund with interest.

The Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Attorney General for Oregon has been notified of this practice by Comenity Bank and Sahalie. Contact the Consumer Protection division of the oregom Office of the Attorney General and file a complaint.

How do you undo this monthly charge thing. What a crock!

Guest

I just got off the phone with Sahalie after reviewing my entire credit card statement for the past 8 months and realized that I had been charged this monthly fee for 8 months. I called my credit card who advised me to first contact Sahalie to ask for a refund of all of the charges.

I called Sahalie back and supposedly they will refund all 8 months worth of charges.

Now I will wait to get email confirmation and to see the credit on my credit card. If not, I will dispute through my credit card.

What did you say to them to refund your account and did you ever really get refunded? I have seven months to deal with! Please advise?

Angry Customer

I am noticing the exact same thing. I am also see a reoccurring $14.97 membership fee for Sahalie VIP customer that I never signed up for or agreed to pay.

I remember getting a bunch of ads in the mail from Sahalie.

I did not at any point agree to this charge. Never buying from this store again.

Guest

Couldn't agree more...I had the same thing happen to me.

Guest

I too thought I was signing up for emails and had NO idea I would be charged for anything. They didn't even confirm my credit card b/c then I would have caught my mistake.

Ridiculous.

Guest

I signed up to receive emails with my order. I got a packet of information and finally found the detail about the $14.95 a MONTH charge.

I will no long do business with Sahalie. I feel like I got scammed.

Guest

I actually got a folder of info from Sahalie Rewards, but it didn't say anything about the monthly charge, nor did I sign up for anything. I just called them today to cancel my "membership," but I'm also going to call my CC company to alert them not to pay any other charges by Sahalie.

Sahalie clothing and accessories rip off

I made a purchase online from this company and lo and behold I find I am entered in a rewards program which costs me $14.95 per month that I never signed up for and have received no information about while I have been paying for it! This is one of those rip off deals where the dollars mount up while you are actually getting no service. I called and they offered a refund but not the full amount charged on my credit card statement that unfortunately slipped by my husband. I will never order anything from them again! WARNING!!!! Watch out!
